East Elementary Principal - Susan Shultz
Susan Shultz
Welcome to East Elementary!
I am so happy to have you as a part of our school family! Our goal is to make every child feel welcomed and connected.I believe that every child can grow, and that the partnership between home and school builds the confidence in students to achieve success.
My journey in this community began when my dad was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, so I am familiar with military life. I was fortunate to have graduated from Waynesville High School, as did my husband and our two children. I attended Missouri State University in Springfield and graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration. This year is my 20th year in education and I can't imagine working for any other school District .
I am truly honored to serve as the Principal of East Elementary, and I am committed to caring for our students each and every day. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have questions or concerns.
I can't wait to work with you to ensure the best possible experience for your children. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. I look forward to an amazing year together!
It’s a great day to be a Tiger!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with the students and families of East Elementary. This will be my 8th year serving as an administrator in the Waynesville School District and my 16th year in education. I truly enjoy working in the Waynesville School District because it is an honor to give back to our military community. Education and leadership are my passion and I will do my best to provide a safe and caring learning environment for all of our patrons.
I received my Bachelors in Education from Missouri State University and my Masters in Educational Administration from Missouri Baptist University. I am also certified in Middle School Science and Special Education.
I am originally from House Springs, MO- about 30 minutes south of St. Louis. I relocated to Rolla, MO in 2017 and I love the "small town feel" this area brings. When I'm not at work I'm spending time with my family and making memories. We have 4 children from the ages of 4 to 20, 2 boys and 2 girls, so life stays busy! We love fishing and hunting and participating in whatever outdoor fun each season brings. I love cooking/baking, gardening, crafting, traveling, and shopping too!
I am honored to be a leader at East Elementary where I will have the opportunity to share best practices amongst our staff and celebrate all of our accomplishments as a team. I'm excited to highlight the great things we do with students and share the amazing growth we achieve!
I look forward to a fun and successful school year!

Administrative Intern - Tiffany Rogers
Tiffany Rogers
Welcome to East Elementary School!
I am very excited to join the administration team as the Intern Principal for East Elementary for the upcoming school year.
I started my career teaching at Laclede County R-I where I taught fifth and third grade. After those three years, I transitioned to Camdenton R-III where I taught fourth grade for four years then pursued K-6 gifted education for four years. Then I was blessed with the opportunity to teach gifted fifth and sixth grade in Waynesville for the LEAP program for the past two years. While teaching LEAP, I pursued my degree in administration and was given a great opportunity to participate in the Aspiring Administration program which led me to East Elementary.
In my free time I love to enjoy time with my family. We stay busy with sports between all three girls but when sports are not taking place we enjoy traveling, swimming, baking/cooking, being outdoors, playing with our dogs, and just making any memories possible.
I am dedicated to the staff, students, and families of East Elementary. I want to ensure that all members have a successful and positive experience while at East Elementary. I firmly believe that every child can grow, and that the partnership between home and school builds confidence in students to achieve success.
Please if you ever have any questions, concerns, or celebrations to please reach out to me! I look forward to a wonderful school year!
